Psychotherapist

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to take this step. I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with a Master’s in Social Work focused on Children and Families. My approach is client-centered, culturally affirming, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I have experience supporting children, teens, young adults, and families as they navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, emotional ups and downs, grief, trauma, family changes, and life transitions. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered. When you're ready, I'm here to walk alongside you. My approach My approach to therapy is grounded in creating a space where you feel truly heard, supported, and understood. I use a client-centered and strengths-based approach, which means I focus on your unique experiences, values, and strengths. I believe you're the expert of your own life, and together, we’ll build on what’s already working while gently addressing the things that aren’t. I also draw from evidence-based tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I often incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore and heal different “parts” of yourself, like the inner critic or the part of you that’s just trying to protect you. For younger clients or those who express themselves best through creativity, I weave in play therapy and mindfulness, using movement, art, games, or grounding techniques to support emotional regulation and self-expression. My focus I am best positioned to serve adolescents, teens, and young adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, or life transitions. I work well with clients who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure about how to manage their emotions or stressors.
