You know you want something different—but you’re not exactly sure how to get there. Maybe you’re trying to figure out who you are, what you want your life to look like, or how to break patterns that no longer serve you. Maybe ADHD, substance use, addiction, relationships, identity, or simply feeling stuck has made it harder to move forward. My focus I specialize in working with young adults navigating substance use and addiction, ADHD, and LGBTQIA+ related concerns. I particularly enjoy working with people who are in the process of building an independent, authentic life and want support turning their ideas about the future into meaningful, lasting change. My approach My approach is collaborative, honest, and focused on helping you make progress. Together, we’ll identify what matters to you, develop realistic goals, understand the patterns that may be getting in your way, and explore new ways of approaching challenges. I’ll offer support and compassion, while also giving you honest feedback when it can help you. My communication style I especially enjoy working with people who are new to therapy. You don’t need to know the “right” things to talk about or have a perfectly defined goal. We can start wherever you are and figure it out together. What matters most is your willingness to be vulnerable, consider feedback, and try something new—even when it feels a little uncomfortable. My journey to mental healthcare I was always the friend who sat, listened, tried to understand, and provided a shoulder to cry on. Empathy and patience have always been a part of my psyche. Having been an active-duty military dependent taught me to meet others where they were without judgement or bias. I wanted to continue being the nonjudgmental person in the room.
