Natasha Collins, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
My name is Natasha Collins. I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for nearly 15 years. I earned my Master's in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco. I am passionate about helping individuals develop skills to support a healthy and fulfilling life. Therapy can help gain insight, find clarity, replace self-defeating patterns with supportive ones, build strengths, learn new skills, and improve relationships. My approach I use a proactive, personal growth, and behavioral-focused approach. I incorporate tools and strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My focus My ideal client is interested in a collaborative, interactive process focusing on present-day issues rather than the past and believes in their ability to change their circumstances (even if unsure how). I work best with clients who are functioning safely day to day but may feel stuck, struggle with decision-making, have relationship difficulties, face life stressors, and/or manage transitions causing distress. My communication style I create a supportive, non-judgmental, safe space for open, honest communication where clients feel able to reflect and share what is in their hearts and minds. My journey to therapy I collaborate closely with clients to identify goals and objectives that guide our work. I facilitate this process, ensuring goals are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. My goals for you I work with clients to set clear, actionable goals to support their growth and healing.
