Getting to know Natasha Fjeldsted

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) currently practicing end-of-life treatment and therapy for individuals with terminal illness. I find great value in supporting individuals as they find comfort during their final stages of life. Additionally, I provide ongoing bereavement services and grief support to families and loved ones of patients who have passed on. Over the last seven years, my social work and clinical experience has grown through working with children, adolescents, and middle to late-aged adults across diverse populations, including those experiencing depression, anxiety, stress management and coping challenges, victims and perpetrators of domestic violence and abuse, and trauma survivors. I discovered my passion for serving others through my personal lived experience. As a first-generation college student, I completed my Master of Social Work degree at the University of Utah (Go Utes!). The clients I best work with present with signs and symptoms related to depression (acute, chronic, situational, postpartum, etc.), anxiety, grief and loss, stress-management challenges, life transitions, and relationship or family dynamic struggles. As a client working with me, you can expect a client-focused, holistic approach and a biopsychosocial assessment that considers all aspects of well-being to support you in meeting your individual goals. My therapeutic approaches and modalities are evidence-based and include Gestalt Psychotherapy (humanistic, person-centered, and existential therapy), humanistic therapy, CBT, MCBT, DBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method for families and relationship dynamics.
