I believe a trusting and genuine relationship is an essential foundation for therapy, and I encourage my clients to come in being truly themselves at whatever stage in their journey they may be in. I’m happy to meet you where you are so we can move forward together in a collaborative manner. As a therapist, I have enjoyed helping children, individuals, couples, and families face a variety of life stressors. I strive to provide a welcoming and safe environment for anyone who comes through the door. My approach I believe the best therapy comes from an individualized approach. I’m comfortable integrating various modalities to provide the best treatment possible, including CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Play Therapy, and DBT, among others. I have used these to address anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, interpersonal and peer relationship difficulties, relationship conflict, self-esteem concerns, and more. My focus Are you struggling to cope with life stressors? Want to learn healthier ways to handle daily difficulties? Are past traumas, life transitions, or future concerns weighing you down? These are issues I can help with and have experience addressing. I will work with you to ensure YOUR specific needs are addressed effectively. My communication style I provide direct, yet non-judgmental communication. I employ active listening to ensure you're heard and strive to challenge you in a supportive manner. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist started with a lifetime of lived experiences managing symptoms and building resilience. I began providing therapy in a community mental health setting, working with various diagnoses, trauma, and life struggles. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands, which has equipped me to support my clients effectively.
