Getting to know Nate Prentice

Hello! I have over 36 years of experience working in the fields of mental health, substance abuse, and trauma. In addition to being a clinical social worker, I am also a pastoral counselor, who is skilled in helping with spiritual/loss of meaning issues. I have been practicing EMDR since 1993, and am also crosstrained in a number of related methods that help with rapid and enduring resolution of traumatic memories (e.g. Flash Technique and a modality I created, Rapid Somatic Pendulation). I can provide individual, couples, and family therapy to people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, meaning, trauma, and addiction. I have a bit of training and experience, but I also believe in the power of a real relationship with my clients, which means a lot towards getting better.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
