These things help to identify emotions, thinking patterns and behaviors to build awareness of how the client relates to others. Nathan also works in a trauma informed manner in which he recognizes areas of traumatic retention in the client and offers a space to release this tension in a healthy way. Nathan believes this release of tension is where true healing comes from in therapy. Additional therapeutic approaches Nathan uses are cognitive behavioral therapy, gestalt art therapy, and solution focused therapy.
