Hi, and welcome! I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. My name is Nate, and I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey. Healing and growth are possible—sometimes it starts with just one small step forward. A little about me: I hold a Master’s in Social Work, a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina. I also served in the United States Peace Corps. My passion is helping people who are hurting find hope, strength, and clarity. If you’re here, it likely means you’re ready for change, and that’s a courageous first step. In our first session, I will encourage you to share what brings you to therapy, ask questions, manage expectations and make goals of what you hope to accomplish in therapy. As more is shared, we can map out your life in a way that makes sense to you, then use that map to organize your thoughts and feelings, and from that awareness, choose a way forward. I invite you to share, process, feel and think with me in a safe space. Know that I am here to support you. Whatever you choose to bring to our time together, I will honor with the dignity that your life experience deserves. No matter the obstacle or injury, there is an intentional and mindful way forward.
