Nattalie Wolff-Tseng, LMHC

Psychotherapist
FL
I am a licensed mental health counselor specializing in sexuality, intimacy, and relationships. I work with individuals and couples who want to better understand their sexual selves, navigate desire and arousal concerns, address sexual shame, and build more authentic and satisfying connections. My approach is collaborative, sex-positive, and affirming. I help clients explore topics that are often difficult to talk about—such as sexual desire, fantasy, identity, communication, and relational boundaries—in a way that feels respectful, grounded, and nonjudgmental. I am particularly attentive to how culture, gender, power, trauma, and life transitions shape sexual and relational experiences. Clients often come to me feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to name what they want or need. Therapy is a space where we can slow things down, increase self-understanding, and develop practical tools for communication, emotional regulation, and sexual wellbeing. I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe being honest, curious, and fully themselves. I welcome clients of all genders, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and identities, and I am committed to providing inclusive, culturally responsive, and affirming care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Many clients seek therapy with me because they are experiencing distress related to sexual functioning, desire, arousal, intimacy, or sexual satisfaction. These concerns are common, treatable, and nothing to be embarrassed about. My role is to help you understand what may be contributing to these challenges and to work with you toward meaningful, evidence-based change. I take a clinical, collaborative approach to sexual concerns such as low or mismatched desire, arousal difficulties, orgasm concerns, pain during sex, performance anxiety, and the emotional or relational impact of sexual dysfunction. We will look at how biological factors, stress, mental health, relationship dynamics, past experiences, and cultural messages about sex interact and affect sexual functioning. Therapy with me is structured but flexible. I provide education, assessment, and practical strategies while also attending to the emotional and relational context of your concerns. You do not need to arrive with a clear diagnosis or fully formed goals—part of our work is clarifying what is happening and identifying realistic, compassionate next steps. I am direct, thoughtful, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I will offer feedback and guidance while respecting your autonomy and pace. My goal is not to pathologize your experience, but to help you reduce distress, increase confidence, and improve overall sexual wellbeing. I work with individuals and couples and strive to provide care that is inclusive, sex-positive, and clinically sound.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Initial Sessions Our work typically begins with a thorough intake focused on understanding your concerns, goals, and relevant history. For clients seeking support around sexual functioning or intimacy, this may include discussion of desire, arousal, satisfaction, relationship dynamics, stressors, medical factors, and prior treatment experiences. We will also talk about what you hope therapy will help you change or understand. Assessment and Conceptualization As we continue, I integrate clinical assessment, psychoeducation, and collaborative conceptualization to better understand the factors contributing to your concerns. Sexual concerns are rarely caused by a single issue, so we may explore biological, psychological, relational, and contextual influences. When appropriate, I may recommend collaboration with medical providers to ensure comprehensive care. Treatment Planning Together, we develop a treatment plan that is individualized, realistic, and responsive to your needs. This may include skill-building, communication strategies, cognitive and emotional processing, behavioral interventions, and education related to sexual functioning and intimacy. Goals are reviewed and adjusted as therapy progresses. Ongoing Work Sessions are active and collaborative. I provide guidance, feedback, and evidence-based interventions while remaining attentive to pacing, consent, and emotional safety. We regularly check in about what is working, what feels challenging, and what may need to shift. Completion or Transition Therapy may conclude when you feel confident managing concerns independently or when goals have been met. If your needs change, we can adjust focus or discuss referrals and next steps as appropriate.
