Getting to know Nawal Alomari

My passion is to help my clients accomplish what they want through self-awareness, openness, and a willingness to work. Clients lead their own paths, and I am simply a guide and support to help them reach the destination they desire. I accomplish this in therapy by using strength-focused and motivational therapy techniques. I hold a Master’s in Counseling from Roosevelt University, which has equipped me with the skills to support clients effectively on their journeys. I invite you to reach out and set up a 15-minute consult to see if you feel comfortable moving forward. Some clients also choose to schedule a full initial session instead, and there is no obligation to continue if it doesn’t feel right. Therapy is a process that happens one step at a time, and you lead the way.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a great fit for individuals and couples who are looking for a comfortable space to explore their thoughts and behaviors, improve patterns and dynamics that are not currently working in their favor, and set and reach goals to help them get more out of life. My ideal client is someone who is ready to tackle things that have been weighing them down or to grow their tool kit and gain better coping skills. I work with a wide array of clients but my most common clientele include adults who struggle with anxiety, ADHD and/or depression and couples struggling to communicate or want to improve their bond even further.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I focus on letting clients lead their sessions and I am a tool to help them achieve or process what it is they want to work through. My purpose is not to tell clients what to do, but instead it's to help them figure out what they want and empower them to get there with my support.
