UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. After around ten years of therapy, I've come to realize that there are a few reasons clients choose therapy. Some people need someone to talk to—someone who understands them and others in their life, as well as someone confidential. Additionally, individuals suffering from unwanted or annoying feelings such as depression, stress, or confusion that ruin their life satisfaction and progress want help being happier. Thankfully, I have found that my clients benefit tremendously in both areas and even enjoy talking with me. They walk away from sessions feeling validated, normalized, and "armed" with an effective arsenal to deal with life's challenges. Some humor therapy never hurt anyone either :) I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Long Island University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support my clients effectively.
