I am a licensed mental health counselor with a passion and desire to bring hope and healing to the lives of others. I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling Psychology from Florida International University and a Bachelor’s degree from the Catholic University of America. I have been privileged to work alongside clients and patients of all ages, from as young as 4 to as old as 99 years. I specialize in treating ADHD in children, teens, and adults. Additionally, I work with individuals struggling with depression, trauma and grief, and various forms of anxiety, including selective mutism. I also specialize in parent training and coaching, family conflict resolution, and provide consulting for clients or families seeking help with substance abuse. My expertise and theoretical background are solidly grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy approaches and techniques; however, I have also integrated mindfulness-based therapy, client-centered, Adlerian, psychoanalytic, dialectical, and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches into my clinical practice.
