Getting to know Nhi Christine Mark-Griffin

If you or your child has been struggling with difficult life situations or navigating traumatic experiences, I understand how overwhelming and lost you can feel. I've made it my mission to help people get the healing they need-kids and adults alike-to let their best self shine. I hold a Master's in Social Work from California State University Long Beach, and in my practice, I love combining my passions for yoga, art, music, and fitness with evidence-based practices such as CBT, EMDR, Trauma-Informed yoga therapy, and play therapy to help clients overcome challenges. My approach is to remain authentic while offering fun and flexible therapy sessions where clients can express, explore, and gain knowledge about themselves in relation to their traumas and resiliency. I believe that knowledge is power, and therapy can provide you with the knowledge, tools, and support you need to move past the experiences that are keeping you stuck. Let's learn, grow, and heal together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Everyone is at a different part of their healing journey and I will meet you where you are at. I aim to take a holistic and playful approach with my clients to help you develop and reach your therapy goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When we get started, we will start with an intake process to learn more about you or your child's story and identify goals. From there, we will work together to discuss what therapy modalities and approaches align with you or your child the most to begin. We will keep open communication for what is working and what is not and adjust as needed!
