What should a new client know about working with you?

Dr. Bennett takes an eclectic approach to therapy, ensuring each client receives a personalized treatment plan tailored to their needs. He brings a touch of humor to his sessions, helping clients challenge negative thinking patterns and reframe negative cognitions in a way that promotes healthier, more effective perspectives. Dr. Bennett combines various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Clinical Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, to address a wide range of issues. He does not adhere to a one-size-fits-all approach, believing that therapy should be as unique as the individuals who seek it. In couples therapy, Dr. Bennett embraces the Gottman Method, alongside an attachment-based, emotionally focused approach. This allows couples to recognize and address the negative interaction patterns and emotions that often contribute to relationship distress, creating the space for healing and growth.
