Getting to know Nicholas Chasler

Hi! I’m Nick, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Millersville University in 2023, and previously completed my Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Criminology from Penn State University in 2020. Over the years, I've worked in inpatient, outpatient, correctional, telehealth, and child-focused settings. I've provided comprehensive mental health assessments, individual psychotherapy and couples therapy at Peninsula Behavioral Health in Sequim, Washington from 2023-2024, as well as at Sun Point Wellness Center in Lancaster, PA from 2024-2026. I've also conducted group therapies at the Child Study Center at Penn State University from 2019-2020, as well as one at the State Correctional Institution at Camp Hill in 2019, and at WellSpan York Hospital's Behavioral Health Unit in 2023. I share these experiences so you can have a clear idea of my background, because you deserve to be able to make an informed choice about your potential clinician. In our work together, I integrate elements of IFS-informed and attachment-based therapy with aspects of ACT, CBT, DBT, and emotionally-focused therapy. I tailor my interventions to what we feel like will be most helpful for you. However, more than any specific technique, I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship. Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down and simply breathe. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting. We begin where you are, of course!

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
