Getting to know Nicholas Cordova

I am a Generalist therapist who has experience in helping teenagers, adults, and couples facing anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, life stress, anger, grief and loss, substance abuse, parenting difficulties, and marital/relationship problems. I am also a trauma specialist with formal EMDR training. I have worked in wide a variety of clinical settings, helping people navigate a range of issues from everyday stress to the most overwhelming life challenges. As a Client Centered therapist, my goal is to create an environment that feels safe and trusting, and to work collaboratively with you to make change that feels practical and approachable. I believe that healing begins in a therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, kindness, and non-judgment, one where you can feel fully accepted as you are.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
