Hi there, I'm Nicholas! My name is Nick, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 8 years of experience working with individuals of all ages in a variety of mental health settings. I have prior experience in residential, inpatient, outpatient, and addiction recovery services. I specialize in assisting adults with a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, OCD, panic disorders, mood and personality disorders, and phase-of-life/adjustment concerns. I received my Master’s in Social Work from Indiana University. I believe there is not a “one size fits all” approach, and it utilizes a variety of techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, somatic mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches. My approach The real job of therapy is to get to know yourself better and change the way you’re thinking, the way you’re behaving, or the way you’re understanding the world. There are a lot of reasons why people go to therapy that have nothing to do with disorders. And when people do go because they have a disorder, that’s nothing to be ashamed of. You’re going to get help and speak to an expert just like you would seeking help for any other medical condition. I believe in assisting others in meeting their goals and empowering individuals in self-advocacy to reach their greatest successes.
