Getting to know Nicholas Lubeck

Are you struggling in your marriage? Are you crippled by the stresses and anxieties in this season of life? Is it hard to see light on the other side of the tunnel? Do you feel hopeless? You’re not alone. I remember the fear I experienced while sitting in the emergency room, feeling pain in my body, and hyperventilating, just to be told by doctors that I was physically okay. I felt like hope was lost, but found it again in therapy. I felt alone, but found out I didn't have to be. This is the story of so many of us, and it would be an honor to sit with you in it, to help you feel heard, and to work with you toward healing and health. I specialize in work with anxiety, depression, couples counseling, and Christian counseling, ranging adults to teenagers. If you feel stuck in your current circumstances/experience, book a call to begin the path towards freedom. You don't have to wait until there are no other options. I will equip you with the tools to stay free beyond time in therapy. What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide treatment for anxiety, depression, couples/marriage, and Christian faith. I will work with you to establish clear, concise goals. As we begin therapy, you will experience relief due to coping strategies in place, and then work towards healing/closure as we take part in deeper work, which leads to healing/understanding that will provide real freedom from the underlying issues.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I often use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion Focused Therapy/Attachment Theory. The Gottman Method is also used for couples. CBT will help with short-term relief, while the other methods will be used for deeper healing/closure. These are weaved in for anxiety treatment, depression treatment, couples counseling, and faith-integrated Christian counseling.
