Psychotherapist
IN
I'm Nick! I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, and much more. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I have been trained in various treatment models including CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, FCT, MI, and TBRI. I have been a licensed therapist (LCSW) practicing in Indiana since 2019. I received my Masters in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University and my Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Saint Francis (where I also played soccer). I have spent most of my career working with adults, children, and families involved in child welfare. I have also worked in medical social work, inpatient psychiatric services, and private practice. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets. I also enjoy watching sports, reading regularly, and staying active. Choosing a therapist on Sondermind can be overwhelming. That feeling of being unsure is completely rational, and we will explore everything together to make sure this is the right fit for you. Together we will create a plan that will instill hope and bring about the change you are seeking. I am glad you took the first step in seeking out a therapist. Now let's get to work!
