Hello! I'm Nichole, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida and Colorado, as well as a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) in Colorado. With 12 years of clinical experience, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate mental health challenges, addiction issues, and grief/loss. My passion lies in supporting adults through life's various hurdles, including anxiety, depression, postpartum mental health, trauma, body image concerns, self-esteem, addiction, divorce, relationship issues, and the aging process in older adults. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Wyoming and went on to receive my master's degree in Social Work with a specialization in Gerontology from the State University of New York Albany. My practice is exclusively through video telehealth, allowing me to connect with clients from the comfort of their own spaces. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with individuals ranging from under 10 years old to those in their late 80s, across diverse backgrounds and cultures. My professional journey has taken me through various settings, including outpatient mental health, inpatient hospitals, and crisis services in emergency departments. I employ an eclectic therapeutic approach, with a strong emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based and solution-focused therapy. Additionally, I incorporate Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to tailor my approach to each unique individual. I believe that every person is unique and deserves a personalized approach to therapy. My goal is to provide a style that best fits each person I work with, helping them discover their strengths and achieve their personal goals. Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, trauma, or addiction, I'm here to support you on your journey to healing and self-discovery.
