Nichole Langley, LPC

Psychotherapist
WY
I have been in the mental health field for over ten years. I am licensed in Wyoming and New York and believe that therapy should be a place where you can be open and honest about anything going on in your life, good or not so good. My approach I like to take a collaborative approach to my sessions. My belief is that each of us knows ourselves best, and it is my role to unlock the skills you already have. I primarily use interpersonal therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). My focus Often, our time together is limited, and the true change comes as a result of the work done in between sessions. I look forward to working with clients who are insightful, open to feedback, and ready to be honest with themselves. My communication style I am laid back and friendly and do not believe therapy needs to be robotic. There is as much that can be learned in moments of humor and laughter, as can be learned through tears. I encourage clients to show up as they are, even on the messy days. My goals for you When working with me, you can expect to take away new concepts to ponder until the next session. I encourage you to come to the session with anything that is on your mind. I generally will ask a lot of questions, challenging you to think differently. My first session with you Our first session will be a lot of getting to know each other. We will go over present concerns and gather some history as well. Through this process, we will see if we are a good fit to work together and set treatment goals for future sessions.
