Getting to know Nici Graves

Hello, I'm Nici. I believe in the human capacity for resilience and work collaboratively with clients on successfully living with and growing from the effects of stress, illness, loss, and trauma. You have the right to enjoy a more satisfying life of creativity and fulfillment, embodying the amazing human you were created to be. Grief is inevitable; sometimes we don't know how to feel or be with emotions, so we 'stuff' them in maladaptive ways. Sometimes having more tools and skills to better manage daily life is what’s required, and other times deeper self-healing work can allow for heavy burdens and old beliefs to transform, alchemizing experiences into integrated gifts. I bring a trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, and welcoming presence to all parts, experiences, emotions, and sensations that are present with clients. Together we find the best ways to support your body, mind, and spirit’s natural movement towards greater alignment and ease. My approach blends Depth and Transpersonal Psychology, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Assertive Community Treatment, and Motivational Interviewing. Our most painful life experiences can be the most powerful and sacred initiations to step into our higher selves. I have dedicated the better part of the last 20 years to understanding the intricacies of human suffering. My clinical knowledge is grounded in deep experience, allowing me to be a steady companion in the darker and more confusing moments life presents. Listening deeply from a place of compassionate curiosity and serving in truth, I reflect your strengths and wisdom alongside places of struggle and conflict. I ask questions that support you in finding the right answers for you. Let’s work together towards your self-healing while honoring and celebrating your process in all of its shades of beauty and depth along the way.
