Getting to know Nick Butcher

Hello, I'm Nick. I get a lot of satisfaction in helping to make even the smallest positive difference in people’s lives. When a client tells me that they feel so much better than they did when they started working with me, it is very rewarding. I have been in the mental health field since 1992, and during this time, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of mental health settings such as community mental health centers, hospitals, emergency rooms, substance abuse treatment programs, and private practices. This diverse experience has equipped me with a broad understanding of different mental health challenges and the best ways to address them. My specialties include working with individuals dealing with addiction, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, life transitions, stress, and providing support to military personnel and veterans. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I have completed the SonderMind Baseline Veteran Education Program. Outside of my work, I enjoy photography and playing guitar. I love spending time with my family and playing with my 105-lb black lab, Titan. These activities help me stay grounded and bring joy to my life, which I believe is essential for maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
