Hello, I'm Nicol. NOW is the best time to focus on you and your complete health. Many medical problems have at their root STRESS! Much of stress stems from how you think and feel about your life. Therefore, it is a crucial component to total wellness to create meaning from your life experiences in order to help resolve stress. I have worked with a diverse population for over 10 years: military, geriatrics, families involved with Child Protective Services, addicts, mourners, and divorcees. Working through grief and loss in a safe space while accepting change has been essential for all these populations. Finding meaning in one's life is a central theme regardless of age and circumstances. Meaning is the conduit to relief and, ultimately, restoration. I provide trauma-informed care in a setting where you will feel seen and heard. Common issues I assist with are relationship problems, divorce care, grief and loss, and managing stress during times of transition. I also work with women's issues, helping them achieve confidence, self-worth, and personal power. I hold an MA and am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and Licensed Professional Counselor.
