Getting to know Nicole Genc

I am a psychotherapist who works with individuals navigating stress, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, integrating evidence-informed practices to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I focus on creating a structured and supportive environment where clients can explore challenges, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful personal change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect a thoughtful, collaborative process where their goals guide the direction of therapy. I aim to help clients increase self-awareness, develop practical strategies for managing difficult emotions, and strengthen their ability to navigate challenges both inside and outside of therapy. Sessions focus on identifying patterns, building coping tools, and creating realistic steps toward personal growth and improved well-being.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session focuses on getting to know you and understanding the concerns that brought you to therapy. We will discuss your background, current challenges, and what you hope to gain from treatment. From there, we work together to develop goals and identify strategies that support progress. Ongoing sessions may include exploring patterns, learning coping techniques, processing experiences, and developing practical tools that can be applied in everyday life.
