Nicole George, LMHC

Psychotherapist
2120 State Ave NE, Ste 219, Olympia, WA
I am a credentialed Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Olympia, WA, dedicated to guiding individuals across the lifespan through their healing journeys. Many of my clients have already found great success in navigating difficult life experiences but are hoping to improve the quality of their connections - with themselves and others. I am particularly sensitive to clients with conflicting emotional and relational difficulties related to neurodivergence, significant life transitions—including divorce, grief and loss, and parenthood—and interpersonal violence and other forms of trauma. Utilizing a trauma-informed lens which looks at how the families we grew up in impact our relationships today, I strongly believe in empowering clients to be the best versions of themselves and recognizes the "Kairos"—the opportune moment—when healing begins. My practice integrates a variety of evidence-based approaches, including nutrition for mental health - helping clients think and feel better by changing their diet, somatic psychotherapy - applying mind-body healing, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) - helping clients integrate and heal traumatic memories and reduce emotional distress, cognitive-behavioral techniques - making connections between thinking and feeling to get out of unhelpful thinking patterns, and solution-focused methods - looking at what's working and expanding that, all aimed at fostering holistic health. I aim to create that healing space with you as we explore together how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, so that you can begin to make targeted change.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
