What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a licensed professional counselor, a nationally certified counselor, and a certified clinical anxiety treatment professional. I earned a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from New York University, and since then, I have been guiding people toward greater self-awareness and emotional well-being. I believe in sharing knowledge and empowering you throughout your therapeutic journey. I begin with a free 15-minute consultation to understand your goals. If my services align with your needs, we will discuss and explore the challenges you are facing. Together, we will establish treatment goals and session frequency. I utilize evidence-based treatments, incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to enhance psychological flexibility, enabling clients to live in alignment with their values. I also use structured Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tools and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), both of which are supported by research for effectively managing anxiety and OCD.
