Nicole Interlini is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Rhode Island who has been practicing since 2018. Nicole received two Bachelor of Arts diplomas in Sociology and Justice Studies, and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. She is also working towards a certification in IFS Internal Family Systems, and EMDR.
Nicole is a trauma informed and trained therapist using an eclectic mix of interventions which include but not limited to, Strengths Based, Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. Your time and treatment will be tailored to you, and the specific needs that brought you to therapy in this season. The focus will not only be on the current stressor or issue leading you to seek help, but also the root so you will have sustained healing and a better quality of life. Whether the root of your issue is mental health (depression, anxiety, OCD, etc.), addiction/substance use or abuse, relationship and parenting struggles, or poor views of self, this will be a collaborative journey. Nicole's diverse background, having officially entered the field later in life in 2016, allows for a holistic view on people, spending more than a decade managing, coaching, and empowering people to be their best, while accepting their reality. Nicole has also facilitated small groups within the church and private practice to promote wholistic transformation by healing from childhood wounds, recovery from addiction and substance use/abuse, depression and anxiety, and equipping people to function at their best with coping skills and maintenance work. Spirituality, faith based, Christian counseling is available.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and friends doing various things from festivals, movies, outdoor activities, to just hanging out with some good food! She is also involved with her local community through her church.
