What should a new client know about working with you?

You may find yourself here because something feels misaligned—perhaps you're carrying the weight of past experiences, feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, or navigating a life transition that has left you overwhelmed. Maybe you're someone who has always been highly attuned to the emotions of others, yet struggle to extend that same compassion to yourself. If any of this resonates, I want you to know that you’re not alone. Healing is possible, and together, we can create a path forward. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in trauma-informed care, utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and other trauma-based modalities. My approach is person-centered, meeting you where you are with the understanding that you are the expert on your own life. I focus on addressing your symptoms by exploring the deeper patterns and beliefs that may be holding you back. While my work is rooted in deep understanding and reprocessing, I am also classically trained to treat a range of concerns, including C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, codependency, and chronic illness. By integrating mindfulness, somatic awareness, and evidence-based techniques, I help clients break unhelpful patterns and cultivate deeper self-awareness. Over the years, I have witnessed profound transformations when individuals are given the tools to process their experiences and reclaim their sense of self. Therapy with me is a collaborative journey. I offer remote sessions, allowing you to engage in this work from the comfort of your own space. Whether you're seeking relief from anxiety, working through past trauma, or striving for deeper self-awareness, I provide a compassionate and nonjudgmental space where your experiences are validated, and your strengths are recognized.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I offer 50-minute and 90-minute online sessions. During our initial session, I will assess your symptoms, health history, previous diagnoses, and treatment goals. Together, we will create a customized plan that aligns with your needs. My approach to therapy is organic and holistic, allowing space for what feels most present for you in each session while maintaining focus on processing limiting belief systems and past experiences that may be contributing to your current symptoms. I typically like to provide a plethora of coping tools for you to develop in the beginning of our work together, prior to deeper processing. My main goal is to create a safe and nurturing space for you to feel comfortable in processing more challenging aspects of your life. I typically meet with clients weekly to establish consistency and momentum before transitioning to biweekly sessions when it feels appropriate. As you reach your therapeutic goals, we will determine the level of support that best suits your ongoing needs. My door remains open for additional support as you navigate life’s challenges.
