What should a new client know about working with you?

During our first few sessions, we will work towards understanding what you are hoping to achieve in therapy and design a treatment plan that will assist you in achieving your goals. We will work together to create a safety plan, identify supports, and define what progress will look like for you in order to reinforce that you are in control of your treatment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our sessions, we will first review events prior to the session, looking for behavioral and thought responses that either support wellness, or exacerbate symptoms. We will then go into how those responses either negate or support the changes outlined in your treatment plan. Safety concerns are assessed, and we discuss exercises and/or tools to practice until the next session. The goal is to affirm that you are an active and essential part of your healing process.
