Hi there, I'm Nicole! Hello, my name is Nicole M. Niggel, and I am a licensed professional counselor. I like to take a person-centered, reality-based approach. I have a lot of experience working with a variety of ages, with much focus on people who battle anxiety and depression. My approach I have worked with person-centered therapy, reality-based therapy, and CBT, and I am trained in EMDR therapy. My focus I am most comfortable treating clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. I also see clients who have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. My communication style I try to create a very calm, comfortable, and inviting space to make my clients feel welcome. I am laid back and easy to talk to. My journey to mental healthcare I was driven to become a therapist because I battled anxiety and depression during my first year of college. I like to teach clients how to develop healthy coping skills, provide psychoeducation about their disorder, and explore ways to best manage it while dealing with everyday stressors. My goals for you I like to work together with clients to set realistic goals that are achievable and attainable. My first session with you Clients should expect an intake session focused on getting to know you and gathering background information during the first appointment.

Most relevant

I had a scheduled appointment today and waited over 45 minutes on the Zoom call, but the doctor never showed up. I received no message, update, or explanation. I understand delays happen, but this level of communication is unacceptable, especially for a mental health appointment. I hope the clinic improves their scheduling and communication with patients.
