Getting to know Nicole Nonclerc

My name is Nicole Nonclerc, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Master's Level Certified Addictions Professional (MCAP), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) in Florida with 10+ years' experience in mental health and addiction treatment. I have worked with clients of all ages, from early childhood through elderly adults, and am comfortable treating a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders. I have also helped clients who need assistance navigating difficult systems of care such as drug court, DCF agencies, and foster care. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Florida State University, and my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. I recently completed my PhD in Criminal Justice at Nova Southeastern University, as well. My counseling style tends to be solution-focused and interactive. I believe that, although a therapist does bring skills and techniques to the sessions, clients are still the experts of their own lives and solutions should fit within the client‚Äôs unique lifestyle, values, and views. My approach combines multiple therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral, motivational enhancement, and humanistic approaches in order to create a unique plan of action for each client. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
