What should a new client know about working with you?

When we work together, you can expect a space that is judgment-free, supportive, and focused on your goals. I will listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and guide you with tools and strategies you can apply outside of therapy. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership — I bring expertise in mental health, and you bring expertise in your own life. Together, we’ll create a plan that helps you manage challenges while building confidence and resilience. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting — just showing up is enough. My role is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you at your pace.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is collaborative and tailored to your needs. In our first sessions, we’ll focus on understanding your goals, concerns, and history so I can get a clear picture of what you’re experiencing. From there, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that highlights both short-term coping tools and long-term growth strategies. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care, while making sure sessions remain flexible to what’s most important for you each week. Clients can expect a balance of support and actionable guidance — I’ll listen deeply, but I’ll also provide skills, tools, and reflection exercises you can carry into daily life. Over time, we’ll track your progress together, adjusting the process to make sure therapy continues to feel meaningful and effective.
