Getting to know Nicole Pankey

I believe that every person deserves a space where they can speak openly and honestly while exploring the challenges, core beliefs, and vulnerabilities that keep them stuck or in a place of emotional discomfort. I place an emphasis on developing a strong therapeutic relationship and establishing trust to help you reach your individualized goals. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University. My training and success include working with individuals whose mental health issues may be long-standing, as well as those struggling with persistent, unresolved issues such as anxiety, unrelieved depression, fears that overshadow you, a sense of meaninglessness, persistent relationship conflicts, and painful memories of trauma and loss. I have specialized training in evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in Action, and SMART Recovery. With my specialized training, I ensure that my “toolbox” is full of appropriate treatments that allow me to assist my clients with all of their mental health needs.
