Getting to know Nicole Pyfer

Hi! I'm Nicole! I'm incredibly curious, non-judgmental, and a straightforward and blunt communicator. I vehemently believe that people are not their behavior, and my work focuses on externalizing problems from clients' identities. Additionally, in my years of practice, I have come to love and appreciate the impact that our everyday language has on our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs about ourselves and others. As such, I make it a point to bring attention to the language one uses that may be contributing to their conflicts and struggles. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver, which has equipped me with the skills to support clients effectively. I come from the standpoint that people get more out of activities they enjoy (rather than dread), so I am intentional about creating a therapeutic space where clients want to be!
