Untangling Trauma from ADHD: Specialized Support for the Late-Diagnosed Woman. Do you feel constantly overwhelmed, struggling with executive function, emotional regulation, or chronic burnout? For many women, these struggles are dismissed as anxiety or depression for years. When you finally consider ADHD, it can be confusing—especially if you have a history of trauma. It can be hard to tell where the trauma response ends and the neurodivergence begins. Currently accepting clients in both English and Spanish. As an LMFT, I specialize in the intersection of women’s ADHD and trauma. Clarity between the two is the key to healing. I don't use rigid, "one-size-fits-all" interventions. I translate complex psychological concepts into easy-to-understand frameworks related to your daily life. We'll collaborate to create a toolbox that works for your specific needs. You don't have to figure this out alone. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to help you make sense of your diagnosis and your history. Whether we are processing the past or building strategies for the present, you will be in the driver’s seat. Let's move past the shame and confusion together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a woman with ADHD, I know the unique challenges and daily obstacles women face with constant distractions and competing priorities. The struggle of functioning well enough to get by but not enough to thrive can be frustrating to face alone. Let's work together to find the solutions unique to you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I deeply believe that therapy should be person-centered. This means adapting my approach to fit what my client needs within the therapeutic relationship. In the room this can look like being someone's sounding board, their cheerleader, psychology and behavioral expert, accountability partner, and/or even their space for emotional safety.
