Welcome! I’d be honored to support you in your mental health journey. My priority is to understand what you want from counseling so we can build a clear, compassionate roadmap together. I offer a relational, culturally responsive, trauma-informed approach that honors your identities, lived experiences, and the systems that shape your stress, relationships, and sense of self. Together we’ll explore patterns that may come from attachment, past experiences, and present challenges, without judgment and at your pace. I integrate practical tools you can use in real life, including grounding skills, emotion regulation, self compassion, boundaries, and coping strategies for the experience of overwhelm. I especially enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, burnout, workplace stress, and identity exploration. My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, more secure in your choices, and supported in creating meaningful change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect a warm, grounded, and collaborative space where your experiences are taken seriously. I’ll meet you where you are, move at a pace that feels safe, and help us create clear goals so counseling sessions feel purposeful and supportive. My style is relational and trauma-informed, meaning we’ll pay attention to patterns, emotions, and relationships while also building practical tools for overall wellness. I believe change happens through both insight and action. Sessions may include reflection, skill building, and gentle challenges to support growth. We will discuss how identity, culture, and systems can impact stress, self worth, and coping. You don’t need to have it all figured out to start. We’ll make sense of things together and build a path forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our process begins with getting to know you. We will explore what brings you in, what you’ve tried so far, what you want to change, and what you hope counseling can offer. In the first few sessions, we’ll explore your current concerns and history at a pace that feels safe, and we’ll identify goals that are realistic and meaningful to you. We may also talk about stressors related to relationships, work, identity, grief, or major life transitions. A typical session includes checking in and exploring what’s been coming up since we last met, and working through patterns, emotions, or experiences that feel most important. Depending on your needs, we may use grounding skills, coping strategies, boundary work, self compassion practices, and reflection tools you can apply between sessions. The goal is for you to leave each session feeling supported and more prepared to navigate daily life.
