I bring over eight years of experience in the mental health field, having served in diverse settings such as mental health clinics, substance use programs, human trafficking services, and foster care agencies, including years of service as a volunteer EMT.
I provide therapy for families, teens, and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and self-esteem concerns. With over a year of experience supporting youth and more than three years working with adults, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Exposure Therapy, and mindfulness practices.
When working with teens and pre-teens, I focus on building trust and helping them process academic stress, peer issues, emotional changes, and family dynamics. I begin with a parent consultation before establishing a confidential, supportive relationship with the child.
With adults, I help unpack patterns shaped by childhood and adult experiences, guiding them through feelings of sadness, anxiety, trauma, and other life transitions. I understand how difficult it can be to start therapy, and I meet each client with compassion and respect. My goal is for you to leave every session feeling better than when you arrived—heard, supported, and hopeful.

Clients can expect a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space when working with me. My approach is person-centered and compassionate, with a strong focus on building trust and rapport. I believe therapy should feel safe and empowering, where you can freely express your thoughts and feelings without fear of being misunderstood or dismissed.
In our sessions, I take the time to understand not just your symptoms, but your story—how your past, relationships, and environment have shaped your present. I incorporate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness techniques to help you explore challenges, identify patterns, and develop practical strategies for change. I also believe in tailoring sessions to your unique needs, pacing our work in a way that feels respectful and supportive to where you are emotionally.
Whether you're coming in for anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, or just to understand yourself better, I meet you where you are and walk alongside you toward your goals. My clients often describe feeling heard, validated, and more confident after our sessions. My ultimate aim is for you to leave feeling just a little bit lighter, more grounded, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In our first session, I focus on getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss what’s been going on in your life, explore your strengths, and begin identifying the areas where you’d like to see change or growth. I also answer any questions you may have about the therapy process so you feel comfortable and informed from the start.
Once we’ve built a foundation, sessions typically involve open conversations where you’re free to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a supportive, judgment-free space. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness strategies, depending on your needs. Together, we’ll work on identifying patterns, building insight, and developing practical tools to support your mental and emotional well-being.
For teens and pre-teens, I begin with a parent consultation to gather background information before working one-on-one with the child. I prioritize creating a safe and trusting relationship so they feel comfortable opening up and exploring what’s on their mind.
