Psychotherapist

I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves while developing a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns. I work with adolescents, young adults, and couples experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and self-esteem. I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and solution-focused techniques. This allows me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and experiences. I believe meaningful change can happen when clients feel both supported and empowered. Together, we will explore what may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping strategies, recognize your existing strengths, and work toward creating a life and relationships that feel more fulfilling. We will work toward your goals while fostering growth, resilience, and lasting positive change. Whether you are seeking support through a difficult transition or simply want to better understand yourself, I am here to meet you where you are and work alongside you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you are unsure what to expect. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy—we can work together to understand what is bringing you in and identify where you would like to grow. I view you as the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you gain insight, build on your strengths, and develop tools that feel realistic and useful in your everyday life. I will meet you where you are while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Because I use an integrative approach, our work will be personalized to you. Depending on your needs, sessions may include exploring thought patterns, developing coping strategies, processing emotions and experiences, strengthening communication, or identifying small, achievable steps toward your goals. My hope is that therapy feels like a space where you can be honest, understood, and supported while working toward meaningful change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first sessions will focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying the goals you would like to work toward. We will discuss your experiences, current challenges, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we will develop a plan that feels appropriate for you. As therapy progresses, sessions may look different depending on your needs. We might explore thoughts and behaviors that are contributing to distress, process emotions and experiences, practice coping or communication skills, identify patterns in relationships, or work toward specific changes you would like to make. Using different techniques, I will tailor our work to what is most helpful for you. I also believe therapy should be collaborative. We will regularly check in about your progress and adjust our approach as needed. Some sessions may involve deeper exploration, while others may focus on practical strategies or a specific challenge you are facing that week. My goal is for you to leave therapy with greater self-understanding, practical tools, and a clearer sense of how to move forward.
