Hello, I'm Nikole. We all go through highs and lows in life, but sometimes the lows can begin to feel overwhelming. My aim as a therapist is to offer a unique space to clients where transformation, challenge, and deeper understanding can occur. I specialize in helping women with perinatal mental health struggles, parenting stressors, as well as those who grapple with disordered eating. I also have extensive experience in addressing depression, anxiety, chronic illness, and bereavement. I graduated with a Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies from Indiana University in 2000 and immediately began work as a Family Child Educator. After a few years, I switched gears and found a job in a community mental health center, holding various positions working with children and families. After a few years here, I went back to grad school to obtain a Master's in Social Work, then received my license in clinical social work (LCSW) in 2011. Upon obtaining my LCSW, I found a job at Anthem BCBS where I coordinated care for 12 years. Here, I worked with people across the US to connect with the behavioral health treatment they needed. I helped people of all ages and diagnoses learn about their condition, educated them on the various levels of care, and ensured they knew what resources were out there and available to them. To address a better work-life balance, I switched gears yet again, which leads me to where I am now. I firmly believe positivity is a choice, and the happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.
