I am a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping clients discover their authentic selves and live with clarity and balance. I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from East Texas Baptist University and have been in professional practice since 2020. I understand that mental health challenges often carry stigma, and seeking support can feel intimidating. My passion lies in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals, adolescents, and families can openly explore their concerns and receive compassionate guidance. My counseling style is warm, direct, collaborative, and client-centered, helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, self-esteem challenges, relationship stressors, and life transitions. I draw on evidence-based approaches‚ including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) and tailor treatment to meet each client‚ is unique needs. In addition to my clinical practice, I bring valuable experience in school-based counseling and special education support, partnering with students, families, and educators to address academic, emotional, and behavioral needs. Outside of counseling, I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending quality time with my family. I am also a devoted mother raising a special needs son, which has deepened my understanding of resilience, patience, and empathy. My mission is to empower clients to face challenges, overcome stigma, uncover their strengths, and embrace their authentic selves without shame or fear. Together, we can work toward clarity, resilience, and a life that reflects your true self.
