What should a new client know about working with you?

As a highly credentialed clinical psychotherapist with over 30 years of extensive experience, I deliver dedicated mental health services specializing in treatment for adults, couples, and families. I hold active dual-state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both New Jersey and Georgia, complemented by advanced credentials as a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), and a Board-Certified Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH). Throughout my career, I have served at the intersection of clinical leadership and crisis advocacy. My administrative background includes directing mental health services across complex healthcare continuums for non-profit organizations and multi-tier hospital networks—encompassing psychiatric emergency departments, detoxification units, acute inpatient care, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and traditional outpatient clinics. Furthermore, I have an extensive history of collaborating with the Superior Courts to advocate for children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating acute, systemic crises. My clinical practice features a robust, integrative framework designed to meet the complex diagnostic and therapeutic needs of my clients. Rather than relying on a single modality, I synthesize evidence-based interventions tailored to individual treatment plans

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Cognitive and Behavioral Interventions: Direct application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to target maladaptive cognitive structures and behavioral patterns. Trauma-Informed & Somatic Practices: Integration of Trauma-Informed Care and Polyvagal techniques to address autonomic nervous system regulation and somatic trauma responses. Relational and Psychodynamic Frameworks: Utilization of Attachment Theory and Schema Therapy to identify, unpack, and reshape deeply ingrained relational dynamics and core maladaptive themes. Constructive and Structural Modalities: Application of Narrative techniques alongside Systemic Family Therapy to address intergenerational structures and empower clients to reframe their lived experiences. To ensure clinical efficacy, maximum privacy, and modern accessibility, my practice operates exclusively via secure telehealth delivery systems. Virtual clinical sessions are conducted using Doxy.me, a secure, fully HIPAA-compliant interactive platform. Confidential digital health records, document coordination, and communication are managed via the ICANotes Electronic Health Record (EHR) Patient Portal, and insurance claims are routed securely through the Waystar clearinghouse system.
