What should a new client know about working with you?

I tailor my methods to suit your unique needs, teaching you the tools necessary for healing. Together we'll navigate life's challenges and harness your inner strengths. Utilizing a collaborative approach, I will guide you through deep reflection, support you in confronting your challenges, and guide you in tapping into your own insights to facilitate change. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) as an integrative method with other evidence-based approaches such as Psychodynamic therapy, Mindfulness Based Interventions, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I create a safe, non-judgmental space where our relationship is paramount, and I genuinely care about getting to know you and supporting you. The standard meeting time for our psychotherapy sessions is 50 minutes. Our first few sessions will focus on an evaluation of your needs and goals for therapy, involving a comprehensive evaluation of your needs. By the end of the evaluation, I will be able to offer you some initial impressions of what our work might include and we will discuss your treatment goals as well as frequency of sessions.
