“Liked the doctor very much. Only setback was the location of his office that has no disability accessability. Many stairs and because of my stroke it was difficult to go up and down to his office. He helped me and my wife get me down the stairs and was very kind. Looking forward to our second meeting. Except for the stairs. ”

Getting to know Noah Eastman

I work with people who’ve been in therapy before but want to go deeper. Using somatic approaches, EMDR, and trauma-informed IFS, we’ll uncover where you feel stuck. I help with anxiety, depression, major life transitions, and childhood trauma. My work is for those ready for meaningful change—tired of repeating patterns, dissatisfied in relationships or work, ruled by an inner critic, or held by stuck grief. If you’re ready to move beyond fear and live with greater vitality and connection, let’s work together. This work isn’t easy. When we start looking beneath the surface of your symptoms, we often encounter the parts of you that have long felt unseen. My role is to hold steady presence through that process. I can help you reconnect with your body’s wisdom, integrate past wounds, and cultivate more aliveness and self-trust in your life. I offer a free consultation and intake to make getting started easy. I know finding a therapist can feel uncertain and frustrating, so I aim to ease that process and help you finally begin the work you’ve been putting off. I have an office in North Berkeley where I see clients in person.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You will feel held in a spacious and supportive environment. You will begin to unravel your tangled web of thoughts, feelings, and stories. You will be accompanied by a warm guide who makes you feel like you are talking to a friend. Your life story will begin to take on new dimensions as you share openly and honestly. You will build emotional regulation tools, practice mindfulness, and learn about attachment. You will slowly gain more choice and freedom in your life by finally having a space where you can be your perfectly, messy self.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am here to serve folks who want to create change in their life. Feeling stuck in the same loops, triggers, annoying patterns? Dissatisfied in your relationships or work? Controlled by your inner critic? Want to get to the root of why you feel anxious, burnt out, addicted? I work with folks who have done therapy in the past but want something deeper. If you are done living your life from anxiety and fear, and want to experience more vitality, purpose, and pleasure, then let's work together.
