Getting to know Noelle Foote

My approach to therapy is rooted in respect for your lived experiences, relationships, family, ancestry, culture, belief systems, and identities. Whether you are an adult, adolescent, parent, or caregiver, it is vital for therapy to meet you wherever you are in your process. Our work together will bring a balance of curiosity, humor, directness, and compassion. We are learning what it means to thrive in the midst of a global pandemic, which has impacted our collective connections and communities. As we find ways to exist among such transitions and changes, the day-to-day can feel unsettling and messy. Therapy is a space where we can begin to process and move toward integrating these experiences. I am here to walk with you along your path in a way that feels authentic to you. Together we will ask meaningful questions, seek understanding, find venues for healing, and navigate what comes next. Together we can find ways to reconnect with your sense of self, those close to you, and your community. Changing patterns can mean approaching your day-to-day life with a different perspective. I believe therapy is a healing path from the impacts of stress, hopelessness, and fatigue. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree from San Diego State University, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively on your journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a clinician, I seek to cultivate a collaborative space in therapy with solution focused methods. I use a systemic approach to ensure the therapeutic process encompasses client perspectives and environments. I incorporate a social justice approach while engaging the intersecting strengths and resilience that exist within individuals, families, and their systems of support. I bring over 10 years of prior experience in Inpatient, Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient clinical behavioral and mental health settings as well as Residential Treatment. I have specialization in work with family systems, with adults and with adolescents both individually and alongside caregivers and family members. __________ IMPORTANT NOTE: MEDICAID & HEALTH FIRST COLORADO FOLKS. Due to the provisions of Medicaid insurance, clinicians cannot see clients with Medicaid insurance on an out-of-network basis. I offer individual therapy for adults and adolescents, family, and parent therapy sessions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

It takes vulnerability and courage to seek a new therapist. Together, we will establish a path that aligns where you are, in an authentic space apart from judgment or shame. The patterns we find ourselves in can be shifted, altered, and rewritten. We will begin our work together with an intake and initial session where we will develop a working treatment plan that meets your reason(s) for engaging in therapy and desired goals. I will walk with you to build and determine what these might look like for you specifically.
