Do you have a history of trauma and are currently struggling with symptoms of anxiety and depression? If your answer is "Yes," it can be challenging to function adequately in different areas of your life, whether as a student, a professional, or in your personal life. Throughout my career, I have heard that therapy can feel daunting to consider for many. However, I want to reassure you that therapy can benefit you at any stage of life. I specialize in working with individuals with a history of trauma who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. My preferred therapy modalities are Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution Focused Therapy. I have also received training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and often find it helpful when working with clients. Although I have my preferences in therapy, I believe that everyone is unique in their own way. My goal is to utilize a therapy technique that best fits your personality and helps you accomplish your treatment goals. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
