Norman Levitan, LMFT

Norman Levitan, LMFT

Psychotherapist
FL
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida. I have experience working with individuals, groups, couples, and families. When working with an individual, couple, or family, I assess and address the entire family history-the sum of its parts-not simply the individuals that comprise it. The distress or problem that originated may not solely be within an individual but a natural reaction to a family dynamic that creates the distress. By using Family Systems Theory, I help clients gain a deeper awareness of their personal conflicts, learn how to resolve them, and live a more fulfilling life without addictions. I hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. I am experienced working with adolescents, the LGBTQ+ community, individuals affected by HIV/AIDS, domestic violence survivors, those struggling with sex and love addiction, and people engaged in 12-step recovery.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
