Dr. Olivia O'Hare is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Substance Abuse Professional with over twenty years of experience in the field of social work. She received her Doctor of Social Work degree from Walden University and her master's degree in social work from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her specialties include first responders, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety and substance abuse. In addition, Olivia is certified as a Substance Abuse Professional through the Illinois Department of Transportation. She can provide SAP assessments, work assessments, violence risk assessments, and drug and alcohol assessments.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is to use evidenced based tools and strategies to support my clients. I use a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy tools and cognitive processing therapy tools.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Typical sessions focus on reviewing anything recent a client would like to discuss or process. Discussing strategies that have and have not been helpful. Also, exploring or learning different tools, techniques, or insights about oneself.
