Getting to know Olyvia Gander

I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and a Florida State University graduate with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I I worked at the Center for Couples and Family Therapy (The CCFT) in Tallahassee providing therapy with and assessing clients with anxiety, depression, and trauma experiences. I have experience working a wide range of clients including individual clients, couples, families, teens and children. It can feel scary and overwhelming to trust someone with the challenges of life weighing you down, especially when they impact the people you love most. Maybe your child is struggling with big emotions, your teen feels anxious or disconnected, or you’re a young adult trying to navigate life’s transitions. Perhaps you and your partner feel stuck in conflict or long for deeper connection. These moments can leave you feeling helpless, exhausted, or unsure of what to do next. I partner with parents, children, teens, young adults, and couples to bring relief, clarity, and hope. I use a holistic and personalized approach drawing from CBT, Integrative Systemic Therapy, and Play Therapy to meet each client where they are. Together, we’ll explore challenges, uncover strengths, and create tools that support growth.
