Getting to know Dr. Omar Troutman

In practice since 2009, I've had the privilege to work with children, adolescents, families, adults, couples, and individuals with disabilities. While I seek to help everyone, I have an extensive background in providing services to the LGBTQQIA+ community as well as a firm foundation in multicultural considerations in counseling, couple dynamics, and family systems. In choosing to work with me, you can expect that I’ll engage you on an existential, cognitive, and/or systemic level with a healthy dose of humor as appropriate. Our community is under attack at the moment, let me help you weather the storm. In recognizing that the primary barrier to taking advantage of counseling is the endeavor itself I offer clinical services online via a secure HIPAA-compliant platform. I am also a Board Certified-TeleMental Health provider. Supervision for LPC licensure is also provided online. Each individual, couple or family experiences various challenges that are unique and the last thing that anyone needs to experience are barriers that prevent competent and capable clinicians of meeting you where you are.
